The Brief
This client commissioned a series of photographs for her bedroom wall. She
had recently painted the walls a calming light green and wanted something
pink to stand out and create a strong impression.
The Solution
I started to think about bedrooms and what they mean. Each of the photos
in this series makes its own statement about what a bedroom is all about:
romance, sex, procreation, and satisfaction of appetite (whether through
dreams or otherwise). Stylistically, I used a lot of the colour red on
pink to reflect the fiery personality of my client. The series was displayed
in aluminium frames surrounded by an antique white mount, each at A3 size.
