Something Different

The Brief A hotel in Richmond commissioned me to photograph “something different” for their men’s toilets. The Solution Due to the display space, “something different” could literally mean anything. When I was visiting my father-in-law’s farm in Brecon, I saw this antique toilet basin and suddenly thought it would be interesting to explore this item on different textures around the farm. Conceptually, it also fit in with the idea that men can make anywhere their toilet. The result was the “Toilet Bowl” series. The client loved it. The main photos and triptych were displayed in a black frame surrounded by antique white mount. > View Gallery < Gallery menu
